We are hiring a Firestop Estimation Engineer to support our projects in Dubai by preparing accurate cost estimates and quantity take-offs for firestopping systems. The role involves reviewing technical drawings and BOQs, selecting appropriate UL-listed firestop systems, and coordinating with operations, sales, and site teams. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of firestopping materials, estimation tools, and tendering procedures, with the ability to deliver cost-effective and compliant solutions.

As a successful candidate for the Latest Jobs in Dubai, your responsibilities may include:
- Review technical documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs related to firestopping works
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for firestop systems (penetrations, joints, cable coatings, wraps, sleeves, etc.)
- Identify appropriate UL firestop systems based on project requirements and design conditions
- Prepare estimation for firestop materials, labor and accessories based on the BOQ
- Coordinate with operations, sales and site teams to obtain technical data, system selections, and pricing
- Prepare technical submittals like material submittal, method statement, prequalification etc. for consultant approvals
- Evaluate RFQs, compare vendor quotations, and recommend cost-effective solutions

Requirements
To qualify for the Latest Jobs in Dubai, applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related field)

- Experience in reading architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel and estimation tools
- Familiarity with BOQ preparation, rate build-ups, and tendering procedures
