Description
The Senior Transport Coordinator is responsible for managing and overseeing transportation and logistics operations for local, export, and import shipments within the chemical and petrochemical industry. The role ensures safe, compliant, timely, and cost-effective movement of materials while coordinating with internal teams, transporters, shipping lines, customs agents, third parties, and customers.
This position requires strong operational control, sound knowledge of chemical logistics regulations, and the ability to manage complex transportation activities independently.

As a successful candidate for the Latest Jobs in UAE, your responsibilities may include:
- Manage and monitor daily dispatch operations and shipment tracking.
- Issue shipping instructions and coordinate export bookings until completion.
- Plan and execute local, export, and import transportation activities.
- Coordinate customs clearance planning and inspections for import shipments.
- Ensure compliance with chemical transportation regulations, labeling, and documentation (MSDS, hazardous cargo).
- Arrange land transportation for local and GCC deliveries, including bulk and drum movements.
- Coordinate supplier goods readiness and collection schedules.
- Manage third-party loadings, transporters, and shipment documentation.
- Provide clear loading and packing instructions to warehouse and dispatch teams.
- Liaise with finance for shipment cost clearance, transport invoices, and rate confirmations.
- Analyze freight costs, source competitive market rates, and support cost optimization.
- Coordinate closely with sales, procurement, import/export, and warehouse teams.
- Handle customer delivery issues and complaints with timely resolution.
- Support operational problem-solving and emergency handling as required.

Requirements
To qualify for the Latest Jobs in UAE, applicants should meet the following requirements:
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of chemical and petrochemical logistics operations
- Experience with export/import documentation and customs clearance
- Familiarity with hazardous materials handling and safety compliance
- Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Cost analysis and freight negotiation capability
- Proficient in MS Office, ERP, and Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline
- 6–10 years of experience in transport and logistics, preferably in the chemical or petrochemical industry
- GCC transportation experience is an added advantage

- Candidates available for immediate joining will be preferred

The third vertical of APC Group, is that it owns and operate a Bulk Liquid Chemicals Storage Terminal, located in Hamriyah Free Zone Phase-1, Sharjah with a storage capacity of 50,000 CBM. This terminal is mainly used for the in-house logistics support for the Group’s import of key Raw Materials for all of its verticals and trading and distribution functions.
This terminal is fully equipped with Class 3 Certification for storing hazardous and non-hazardous Chemicals, loading and offloading ships, barges through dedicated pipelines and has a completely automated Drums Filling and ISO Tanks Loading and Discharging facilities.
