Job Vacancy: Sales Engineer/ Account Manager
We are looking for Sales Engineer/ Account Manager who manage customer inquiries, quotations, and order processing from initial contact to completion. Support estimation and provide technical and commercial clarifications to customers. Promote MTQ’s machining, repair, and manufacturing services for oilfield equipment. Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining MTQ’s products and capabilities to customers and prospects. Contribute to business development and market expansion initiatives.
The candidate should possess Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Metallurgy Engineering, or related oilfield discipline with a minimum 5 years of experience in sales within the oilfield equipment or services industry. Minimum 2 years of experience working with API standards (Q1, 6A, 16A, 16C, 5CT, 7-1) is required. Experience with ADNOC is a strong advantage.
Description
Positions:
- Sales Engineer/ Account Manager

- Service existing clients and actively identify new business opportunities & clients.
- Attend to customer inquiries, prepare and submit quotations, and follow up on purchase orders.
- Handle customer complaints, coordinate with workshop and QA/QC teams, and provide resolutions promptly.
- Conduct regular client visits for sales, marketing, and relationship-building purposes.
- Coordinate with the workshop to ensure jobs are completed as per schedule and specifications.
- Ensure valid Purchase Orders (POs) are received before delivery.
- Entertain and assist customers during their visits to the MTQ facility.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at customer organizations.
- Achieve sales and profitability targets in line with company objectives.
- Identify and track key regional projects and opportunities.
- Collect and report structured market intelligence and competitor information.
- Support finance in payment collection and credit follow-up when required.
- Prepare cost estimates for new manufacturing, repair, service, and trading jobs.
- Review drawings, design packages, and specifications for estimation accuracy.
- Maintain ISO-compliant sales documentation, inquiry logs, and customer records.
- Participate in marketing activities and contribute to promotional material development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Petroleum Engineering, or related oilfield discipline;
- 5+ years of experience in sales within the oilfield equipment or services industry;
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with API standards (Q1, 6A, 16A, 16C, 5CT, 7-1) is required.
- Strong English communication skills (verbal & written);
- Experience with ADNOC will be a strong advantage;
- Knowledge of oilfield equipment, processes, and cost structures;
