We are seeking a detail-oriented GL Accountant to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring the accuracy of financial records and supporting business decisions with valuable financial insights.

As a successful candidate for the Latest Jobs in Abu Dhabi, your responsibilities may include:
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of general ledger accounts.
- Post journal entries and maintain all accounting records.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Generate financial reports for management and other departments.
- Assist in the preparation of internal and external audit reports.
- Perform balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulations.
- Support monthly and year-end closing activities.
- Assist in tax return preparation (VAT, sales tax, etc.).
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting.
- Provide financial insights to support business functions.
- Collaborate with other departments (AP, AR, Payroll) to resolve accounting issues.

Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
