Description

This is a full-time role for a Wet Utility Design Engineer at Altorath International Engineering Consultants L.L.0 (AIC) in Abu Dhabi. 

• Wet Utility Design Engineer

The Wet Utility Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to the design of water, sewage, storm, hydrology studies and irrigation network for both main & secondary networks.

Requirements

• Overall experience required: 5 to 8 years. 
• Strong knowledge in utility design, including sewage, water supply, irrigation, sewer systems, and firefighting. Proficiency in concept development, data collection, and design delivery. 
• Proficient in using main design software such as Bentley SewerGEMS and WaterGEMS. 
• Familiarity with other preferable programs, including ArcGIS, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, Flowfvlaster, and HYFRAN Plus. 
• Expertise in data collection and verification. 
• Ability to perform design calculations and analyses at various design stages (conceptual, preliminary, and detailed), including obtaining necessary approvals. 
• Capability to compare various process models and integrate them into project design. 
• Experience in applying utility quality assurance parameters. 
• Competence in preparing cost estimates for specific tasks and activities. 
• Experience in conducting flood mitigation studies and proposing suitable solutions. 
• Preference will be given to engineers located in the UAE. 
• Salary will be negotiated post-interview and approval, based on market standards.
