Update in system for store activities pertaining to inventory and overall control of store.

Responsibilities

• Update of reports on inventory quantities.
• Maintain proper records.
• To initiate purchase requisitions for the replacement of stock of all regular
• stores items whenever the stock level of any item of store approaches the
• minimum limit fixed in respect thereof.
• To check and receive purchased materials forwarded by the receiving
• department and to arrange for the storage in appropriate places.
• Reserve a particular material for a specific job as required.
• To issue materials in required quantities against authorised requisition

Key Interaction

• To check the balances, with the actual physical stock at frequent intervals by
• way of internal control over wrong issues, pilferage, etc.
• Adheres to Safe working instruction and SOPs.
• Adheres to near miss and incident reporting.
• Performs any other related activities, as requested.
• Ensure readiness of store for internal /external audit in short notice.

Requirements

• Minimum High School Certificate and Diploma in material management.
