Responsibilities
- Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environment.
- Conduct laboratory evaluation of samples (oil, fuel, coolant/source water)
- Operate and implement analytical lab instrumentation.
- Properly maintain laboratory instruments and dealing with malfunctions thru basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain and manage accurate and precise documentation.
- Review data on computer following standard operating methods.
- Update and calibrate lab analysis instrumentation.
- Conduct regular updating of records and develop reports.
- Support LEAN Six Sigma Initiatives to improve process and products.
Requirements
- Four-year degree in chemistry or related field (biology, bio-chemistry, chemical engineering, etc.) or equivalent work experience, which must include a minimum of four years direct lab experience. Oil Laboratory experience is a plus.

- Instrument Troubleshooting skills
- Critical thinking, time management, decision making and problem-solving skills
- Computer skills
- ISO 9001 or ISO 17025 Experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience and willingness to operate in a TEAM environment
