Job Summary
We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection designs while working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, compliant solutions. Junior candidates need 2-4 years of experience, while intermediate candidates require 6-9 years of experience in a consultancy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems from concept to detailed design.
- Prepare drawings, reports, and calculations in line with CIBSE, ASHRAE, NFPA, and local authority standards.
- Develop and update Mechanical BIM models and support coordination and clash detection.
- Assist with authority submissions, shop drawing reviews, and contractor RFIs.
- Support construction phase activities to ensure design intent is maintained.
- Follow company quality standards and maintain accurate project documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
- For the Junior role: 2–4 years of experience in mechanical design within a consultancy environment.
- For the Intermediate role: 6–9 years of experience in mechanical design within a consultancy environment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.
- Good understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
