Job Overview
Job Summary
We are seeking an Accountant with 2-3 years of experience to manage daily financial records, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of UAE VAT and accounting software, preferably with experience in the shipping or logistics sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain daily financial records and accounting entries.
- Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and receipts.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and customer/vendor accounts.
- Assist in monthly financial reports and account closing.
- Maintain VAT records and support UAE VAT return preparation.
- Monitor expenses and maintain accurate financial documentation.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding payments and outstanding balances.
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate for this Accountant vacancy in Dubai must meet the following criteria:
- 2–3 years of accounting experience (mandatory).
- Shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics experience preferred.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT and accounting procedures.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
