Job Overview
Job Summary
We are seeking a Construction Accountant with 2-3 years of relevant experience to manage project-wise financial records, progressive billing, and cost control. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project accounting and UAE VAT regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle progressive billing, interim invoices, and payment certifications.
- Maintain project-wise financial records, job costing, and expense allocations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including subcontractor and supplier payments.
- Monitor retention payments and follow up on outstanding collections.
- Assist with project budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Support VAT compliance, audits, and financial reporting.
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate for this Construction Accountant vacancy in the UAE must meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in construction or contracting in the UAE.
- Understanding of project accounting, progressive billing, and retention.
