Job Overview
Job Summary
We are looking for a Civil Inspector to join RTC in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in roads and infrastructure projects, including at least 5 years of relevant experience in the UAE, and a strong understanding of Dubai authority requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect road and infrastructure works, including earthworks, pavements, drainage, and utility installations, for compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Review and process Inspection Requests (IRs) and verify construction activities against approved method statements and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
- Monitor contractors’ workmanship and ensure compliance with project quality standards and applicable Dubai authority requirements.
- Identify non-conformities, issue Site Observation Reports (SORs) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and follow up on corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, daily reports, and quality documentation.
- Conduct snagging inspections, monitor rectification works, and assist with as-built documentation and final project handover.
