Job Overview
Job Summary
Al Tayer Insignia is looking for an experienced Warehouse Storekeeper with a background in retail inbound and outbound warehousing. This role involves maintaining accurate inventory, overseeing the safe storage and movement of goods, and coordinating with warehouse teams to ensure timely, efficient operations and meeting the KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Control
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Perform cycle counts and stock audits as per schedule.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and report exceptions to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Monitor stock condition and identify damaged, expired, or obsolete inventory.
- Ensure correct stock rotation practices are followed.
Receiving & Put-away
- Receive inbound shipments and verify quantities against shipping documents.
- Inspect goods for damages or discrepancies and report issues immediately.
- Process Goods Receipt transactions in the WMS/SAP system.
- Ensure products are properly labelled and stored in designated locations.
Picking, Packing & Dispatch
- Pick products accurately against system-generated pick lists.
- Verify picked quantities and product codes before packing.
- Pack orders according to company standards and customer requirements.
- Prepare goods for dispatch and ensure timely order fulfilment.
Systems & Compliance
- Execute inventory movements, transfer orders, receipts, put-away, replenishment, and dispatch transactions in SAP EWM/WMS.
- Ensure all transactions are completed accurately and in real time.
- Compile with all Health, Safety, Security, and Environment requirements.
- Report safety hazards, incidents, and near misses immediately.
People Management
- Support the Warehouse Supervisor in guiding, coordinating, and motivating warehouse staff.
- Monitor staff productivity, work quality, attendance, discipline, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Track daily operational KPIs for assigned staff and support corrective actions to improve performance.
Qualifications & Requirements

Mandatory Requirements
- High School Certificate or equivalent
- 2 to 4 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, storekeeping, or distribution operations
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Good computer proficiency, with experience using MS Office
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Retail distribution centre experience
- Working knowledge of SAP EWM, Oracle WMS, or similar Warehouse Management Systems
