Job Summary
Dubai National Insurance is seeking an experienced Reinsurance Officer with 3-4 years of experience in General Insurance (Motor & Non-Motor) Reinsurance. The role requires strong exposure to the UAE reinsurance market, expertise in Treaty & FAC placements, and the ability to handle quarterly SOA, bordereaux, treaty renewal statistics, claims intimation, recoveries, and cash call requirements. The successful candidate will coordinate with Underwriting, Claims, Finance, and IT teams while negotiating with reinsurers and brokers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Treaty & FAC reinsurance placements for Motor and Non-Motor portfolios.
- Prepare and submit quarterly Statements of Account (SOA), bordereaux, and treaty renewal statistics.
- Handle claims intimation, recoveries, and cash call requirements efficiently.
- Coordinate with Underwriting, Claims, Finance, and IT teams on reinsurance requirements.
- Negotiate with reinsurers and reinsurance brokers to secure optimal terms.
- Ensure strong understanding and compliance of treaty and RI securities.
