Job Overview
Job Summary
Falcon Middle East General Contracting is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves preparation of joint measurements as per TAQA standards, site measurement sheets for cable laying works, quantity takeoff from drawings, and monitoring project BOQ quantities. The ideal candidate will have experience in identifying quantity variations, maintaining material reconciliation records, and handling RCDR submissions, material inspection, and joint measurement documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of joint measurements as per TAQA standards.
- Preparation of site measurement sheets for cable laying works.
- Take off all quantities from the drawings.
- Take overall responsibility for monitoring project BOQ and quantity.
- Monitor contract BOQ quantity and current or used quantity.
- Record actual quantity used or executed at site on regular basis.
- Identify quantity variations, additional works with omissions.
- Ensure BOQ quantities are not exceeded.
- Maintain proper record for cable lengths, excavation quantity used, other materials, joints, terminations, etc.
- Handle proper record reconciliation of all material.
- Submit RCDR, material inspection, joint measurement.
- E-invoice system handling.
- Attend TAQA and consultant meetings.
- Identify and record variations and additional works along with omitted works.
- Site coordination.
Qualifications & Requirements

Mandatory Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in quantity surveying, preferably in infrastructure or cable laying projects.
- Experience in preparing joint measurements as per TAQA standards.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ monitoring, quantity takeoff, and site measurement.
- Experience in material reconciliation and record keeping.
Preferred Qualifications
