Job Summary
MedX Pharmacy is looking for an IT Support Assistant with hands-on experience in Prime Plus (Retail Pharmacy POS) and Prime Pro (Back-Office & ERP) Retail Software to support our daily IT operations. The ideal candidate should have prior UAE experience, preferably within a retail pharmacy environment, with strong knowledge of retail software systems and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and assistance for Prime Plus and Prime Pro Retail Software.
- Handle software-related issues, troubleshooting, and user support across retail operations.
- Support pharmacy branches with system-related queries and ensure smooth software operations.
- Assist with software updates, configuration, and system maintenance.
- Coordinate with software vendors for issue resolution and technical support.
- Provide basic IT support for hardware, network, and system-related requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation of IT issues and resolutions.
- Assist users with software training and operational guidance when required.
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate for this IT Support Assistant vacancy in Dubai must meet the following criteria:
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 1-2 years of UAE experience in IT support or a similar role
- Hands-on experience with Prime Plus and Prime Pro Retail Software is mandatory
- Basic knowledge of hardware troubleshooting, networking, and software support
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and coordination abilities
- Ability to work independently and support multiple locations when required
