Job Summary
M.H. Al Muftah Trading & Contracting WLL is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer – Switchgear Operations & Technical Sales who is both technically strong and commercially driven. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of relevant experience, a valid UPDA/MME Engineering Registration, and strong knowledge of LV switchgear, control panels, and electrical systems. Qatar experience is preferred. This role involves managing engineering operations, technical sales, tendering, and business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day switchgear engineering, technical operations, project execution and technical sales activities
- Review drawings, BOQs, specifications and tender documents; prepare technical and commercial quotations
- Own the end-to-end technical sales function, including customer presentations, negotiations, quotations and business development activities
- Drive sales initiatives and new business opportunities, while monitoring projects and commercial performance and developing long-term customer relationships
- Provide regular management reports and business plans, with recommendations to improve operational and sales performance, drive business growth and achieve sales targets
- Ensure compliance with KAHRAMAA requirements, project specifications and applicable Qatar standards
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate for this Electrical Engineer vacancy must meet the following criteria:
Mandatory
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Valid UPDA/MME Engineering Registration – Mandatory
- 8+ years of relevant experience; Qatar experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of LV switchgear, control panels, and electrical systems

- Proven experience in technical sales, tendering, quotations and business development
- Good understanding of KAHRAMAA requirements and the Qatar electrical market
