Job Overview
Job Summary
Lutfi Group is seeking a detail-oriented E-Commerce Accountant to manage accounting activities related to online sales channels, payment gateways, marketplaces, inventory reconciliation, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have experience handling Amazon, Noon, Shopify, or other e-commerce platforms and possess strong accounting and reconciliation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and reconcile daily online sales transactions.
- Reconcile payment gateways (PayTabs, Telr, Stripe, Amazon Pay, etc.).
- Reconcile marketplace settlements (Amazon, Noon, Carrefour Marketplace).
- Monitor refunds, returns, cancellations, and chargebacks.
- Reconcile bank accounts and payment gateway statements.
- Maintain accurate inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS) records.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and management reports.
- Process supplier invoices and customer refunds.
- Ensure VAT compliance and prepare VAT reports.
- Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, customer service, and e-commerce teams.
- Assist in budgeting, audits, and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain accounting records in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books, Odoo, Tally, etc.).
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate for this E-Commerce Accountant vacancy in Dubai must meet the following criteria:
Mandatory Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in e-commerce.
- UAE experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations.
- Excellent Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query preferred).
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Good analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Amazon Seller Central, Noon Seller Lab, Shopify, WooCommerce, or Magento.
- Knowledge of inventory accounting.
- Experience with payment gateway reconciliation.
