Job Overview
Job Summary
Etihad Energy Holding PJSC is hiring a Crewing Officer to join our team in Dubai. The role involves ensuring vessels are manned with qualified seafarers, planning crew changes, coordinating with Manning Agents, and maintaining accurate crew records. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies or Nautical Science, 3+ years of crewing experience, and strong knowledge of STCW, MLC, Flag State, and SMS requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure vessels are manned with qualified, competent seafarers in compliance with STCW, MLC, Flag State, and Company SMS requirements.
- Plan and coordinate crew changes, relief schedules, and deployment, including travel, visas, and logistics.
- Screen and verify candidate CVs, certifications, and sea service, coordinating interviews and approvals with Technical and Marine teams.
- Act as the main point of contact between Manning Agents, vessels, and internal departments.
- Monitor Manning Agent performance and compliance.
- Maintain accurate crew records, certifications, and Flag State endorsements.
- Support crew welfare, grievances, and incident reporting.
- Support internal audits, TMSA/SIRE preparation, and reporting on crewing KPIs, costs, and Manning Agent performance.
