Job Overview
Job Summary
SWA Advocates & Legal Consultants is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our growing team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of UAE accounting experience, strong knowledge of UAE VAT and accounting practices, and proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Law firm or professional services experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions.
- Manage payroll and support HR when required.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Handle VAT preparation, filing and UAE tax compliance.
- Prepare invoices, receipts and financial statements.
- Prepare financial reports and support budgeting and forecasting.
- Monitor expenses, cash flow and bank reconciliations.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks and suppliers while maintaining confidential financial records.
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate for this Accountant vacancy in Dubai must meet the following criteria:
Mandatory Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 2-5 years of UAE accounting experience.
