Job Summary
Delta Cone General Contracting is seeking an exceptional Electrical Engineer to join their team in Abu Dhabi, working on critical infrastructure and data centre projects. The role requires strong understanding of MV/LV electrical infrastructure, experience preparing engineering deliverables, and confidence in testing and commissioning. Key Responsibilities
- Contribute across the full lifecycle of mission-critical electrical infrastructure projects.
- Prepare engineering deliverables including submittals, shop drawings, single-line diagrams, cable schedules, load calculations, protection coordination, and as-built documentation.
- Coordinate technical submissions, inspections, and approvals with utility providers and regulatory authorities.
- Apply sound engineering judgement to resolve challenges across design, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Verify system safety, resilience, reliability, and performance through testing and commissioning activities.

Mandatory Requirements
- Strong understanding of MV/LV electrical infrastructure — substations, transformers, switchgear, UPS and battery systems, generators, busway, power distribution and earthing.
- Experience preparing engineering deliverables — submittals, shop drawings, single-line diagrams, cable schedules, load calculations, protection coordination and as-built.
- Ability to coordinate technical submissions, inspections and approvals with utility providers and regulatory authorities.
- Sound engineering judgement to resolve challenges across design, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning.
- Confidence in testing and commissioning — verifying system safety, resilience, reliability and performance.
Highly Regarded Qualifications
- Abu Dhabi DMT Engineer Licence & E1 Engineer's Registration (TAQA / ADDC signature authority).
- EPI CDCP / CDCS certification.
- HV / MV Authorised Person.
- ADCD registration.
- NFPA 70E and ETAP proficiency.
- 4+ years on mission-critical works.
- Valid UAE driving licence.
