Royal Vision Desert Safari Camp is seeking a highly responsible and detail-oriented Camp Accountant to manage revenue and cost control for its premium desert safari operations in Dubai. The role involves reconciling daily bookings, collections, supplier invoices, inventory usage, and operational costs. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of accounting experience, strong practical knowledge of cash/POS/online payment reconciliations, and proficiency in Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile daily bookings from CityLaila, B2B agents, OTAs, direct customers, walk-ins, and freelancer-operated vehicles.
- Reconcile daily collections by cash, POS/card, online payment, bank transfer, credit, and agent settlement.
- Match booking records against actual guest entries, wristbands, meal counts, and camp attendance.
- Prepare daily revenue and collection reports by booking source, agent, payment method, and service type.
- Control cashier handovers and investigate all cash, POS, and guest-count differences.
- Maintain AR records for B2B agents and prepare ageing and collection follow-up reports.
- Verify supplier invoices against purchase approvals, delivery notes, and services received.
- Maintain AP records and prepare supplier reconciliation statements.
- Monitor food, beverage, and consumable stock movement including opening/closing stock and wastage.
- Assist in calculating food cost per guest and overall camp operating cost per guest.
- Reconcile driver trip sheets, vehicle assignments, fuel expenses, and transport charges.
- Maintain petty cash with complete supporting vouchers and approval records.
- Record approved transactions accurately in Tally Prime.
- Support monthly closing, bank reconciliation, VAT reconciliation, and Corporate Tax documentation.

Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong practical knowledge of cash, POS, online payment, and credit reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
- Working knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements.
- Ability to prepare management reports and independently investigate discrepancies.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and accountability.
- Strong English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- UAE accounting experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience in tourism, hospitality, restaurants, attractions, transport, events, or desert safari operations is highly desirable.
- Hindi, Urdu, or Arabic language skills would be an advantage.
- Must be willing to work on-site according to desert-camp operating hours.
