Job Summary
MTQ Engineering LLC is seeking a UAE-based Regional Sales Manager to drive revenue growth and expand market share for its core product lines. The role suits an independent strategic thinker with a hands-on attitude and deep technical sales experience in the oilfield, offshore, or marine services sectors. Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will operate autonomously in the field while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and principal partners, with frequent travel of up to 50% across the GCC and wider Middle East.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Growth and Sales Execution: Develop and execute tailored regional sales strategies to expand market share across the UAE and wider Middle East, consistently meeting or exceeding annual revenue and gross profit targets.
- Portfolio Promotion: Drive business development for core product lines including pipe handling equipment, SOCO valve greases, and Billy Pugh safety products, while identifying opportunities to introduce new principal lines.
- Lead Generation and Market Penetration: Identify, qualify, and secure new commercial opportunities with drilling contractors, NOCs and IOCs, marine vessel owners, and oilfield service providers.
- Key Account Management: Serve as the primary regional point of contact, cultivating high-value, long-term relationships with key clients, principal partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Market Intelligence: Gather, analyze, and report on competitor activity, market trends, and pricing dynamics to provide actionable insights for internal stakeholders.
- Compliance and Governance: Oversee daily sales operations across the region while ensuring strict adherence to UAE business regulations, compliance standards, and internal company policies.
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate for this Regional Sales Manager vacancy in the UAE must meet the following criteria:
Mandatory
- A self-directed, strategic thinker with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a hands-on approach to building a pipeline from the ground up.
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- An existing network of contacts within regional drilling contractors, ADNOC and other regional NOCs, and marine operators.
- Valid UAE Driver's License and willingness to travel extensively across the region.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Preferred
- 5 to 8 years of B2B technical sales experience in the Middle East Oil and Gas industry preferred but not a must.
- A proven track record of navigating the Middle Eastern energy market is ideal but not essential.
