Job Summary
Alliance Insurance is hiring an Internal Auditor in Dubai to support the execution of the internal audit plan by conducting risk assessments, performing audit engagements, evaluating internal controls and following up on management action plans to enhance governance, risk management and control processes. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of internal audit experience, including risk assessments, audit planning, execution, reporting and follow-up, with insurance industry experience in the UAE preferred. A Bachelor's degree and an internal audit certification are advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in enterprise-wide and audit engagement risk assessments.
- Conduct audit planning, fieldwork, testing and documentation.
- Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with policies and regulations.
- Identify risks, control gaps and opportunities for process improvement.
- Follow up on audit observations and monitor the implementation of corrective actions.
- Maintain audit working papers and supporting documentation.
- Assist in special reviews, investigations and advisory assignments as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate for this Internal Auditor vacancy in Dubai must meet the following criteria:
Mandatory
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in internal audit.
- Experience in risk assessments, audit planning, execution, reporting and follow-up activities.
- Strong understanding of internal auditing, risk management, internal control frameworks and ICOFR.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Preferred
- CIA, CPA, ACCA, CMA or CISA certification.
- Insurance industry experience in the UAE.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
