Job Summary
Leaders Fort Contracting LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant in Dubai to manage day-to-day accounting operations including bank reconciliations, VAT-compliant invoicing, PDC schedules, and month-end and year-end closing. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, has 1 to 3 years of accounting experience with UAE experience preferred, and brings strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws, FTA compliance, and accounting software such as Tally or NAV.
Key Responsibilities
- Monthly bank reconciliations and weekly closing entries.
- Preparing and issuing VAT-compliant sales invoices in line with UAE FTA regulations.
- Managing PDC receivables and payables schedules.
- Preparing AP cheques for suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Posting accounting entries for EOSB, leave salary, and pending wages.
- Month-end and year-end journal entries and MIS report preparation.
- Supporting year-end audits with schedules, queries, and documentation.
- Accounting entries for Letters of Credit (L/C) and Letters of Guarantee (L/G).
- Maintaining organized, accurate, and audit-ready financial records.
Qualifications & Requirements

Mandatory
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of accounting experience, with UAE experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and FTA compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, NAV, or similar.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to meet deadlines.
