Job Summary
Equitrans Logistics LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations, financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, audits, and financial controls. The role requires strong UAE VAT and Corporate Tax knowledge, advanced reporting skills, and the ability to support compliant financial operations in a dynamic logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using the company’s accounting systems.
- Prepare and post accounting entries for assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses.
- Manage the general ledger and ensure accuracy of all financial transactions.
- Prepare monthly financial statements including petty cash, balance sheets, profit and loss, and cash flow statements.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, collections, aging, and cash inflows.
- Reconcile company bank accounts and credit card transactions.
- Support monthly and year-end closing processes, budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements including filings and documentation.
- Prepare audit schedules and documentation for internal and external audits.
- Review accounting systems, policies, internal controls, and recommend process improvements.
