Job Summary
Sharjah Insurance Company is hiring a dynamic and detail-oriented Arabic-speaking Policy & Process Administration Officer to support quality, performance and governance initiatives across the Policy Administration function. The role focuses on developing a Policy Administration Quality Framework, enhancing SOPs and workflows, conducting internal quality reviews, and coordinating with department heads, external consultants and cross-functional teams including Underwriting, Sales, HR, Finance, IT, Compliance and Internal Audit.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive Policy Administration Quality Framework.
- Review, update and enhance policies, procedures, SOPs, workflows and internal controls to ensure operational accuracy and regulatory alignment.
- Coordinate with department heads and external consultants for policy and process documentation updates.
- Conduct regular quality reviews and audits across transactional, operational, digital and regulatory processes.
- Identify operational risks affecting accuracy, SLA compliance, turnaround times (TAT) and customer experience, and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor and oversee end-to-end policy administration workflows and process governance.
- Conduct impact assessments for system enhancements, regulatory updates and product or process amendments.
- Collaborate closely with Underwriting, Sales, HR & Administration, Finance, IT, Compliance and Internal Audit teams.
- Support the Internal Audit function in governance, documentation and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate for this Policy & Process Administration Officer vacancy in Sharjah must meet the following criteria:
Mandatory
- Arabic speaker with strong English communication and drafting skills.
- Minimum 3 years of UAE experience in the financial sector, preferably insurance, banking or money exchange.
- Good understanding of policies, procedures, SOPs, workflow documentation and internal controls.
Preferred
- Experience in insurance operations, policy administration, governance, quality assurance or process management.
- Strong analytical, coordination and documentation skills.
- Sound knowledge of audit and internal controls within a regulated financial environment.
