Job Summary
Yas Projects LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Quantity Surveyor to assist the commercial team with post-contract QS related work. The role includes measurement and take-offs, BOQ support, payment applications, subcontractor invoice processing, commercial logs, cost control, Excel-based tracking and contract support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of accurate material take-offs and Bills of Quantities.
- Support the preparation and submission of monthly interim payment applications within contractual deadlines.
- Process subcontractor invoices and assist with payment certifications.
- Provide material quantities to the site team to support timely issuance of Purchase Requests.
- Maintain and update commercial logs, including variation orders, payment trackers and claims registers.
- Support budget monitoring and cost control activities to keep project expenditure within approved limits.
- Use advanced Microsoft Excel functions to track site progress and perform detailed cost comparisons.
- Assist in drafting formal correspondence and managing variations.
