Job Summary
The Fire Fighting Estimation Engineer will analyse project requirements, review technical drawings and prepare detailed Bill of Quantities for fire protection systems including sprinklers, fire pumps, gas suppression systems and alarms. The role focuses on delivering competitive, profitable and compliant technical and commercial proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse technical drawings and project documents for fire protection system estimation.
- Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities for sprinklers, fire pumps, suppression systems and fire alarm systems.
- Compile technical and commercial proposals for tender submissions.
- Ensure proposals comply with NFPA standards and local UAE Civil Defence requirements.
- Evaluate vendor quotations and negotiate material costs with suppliers.
- Conduct value engineering to support cost optimisation and project profitability.
- Provide technical support to sales teams during tendering and project bidding.
- Perform site visits to assess project scope and support accurate estimation.
- Manage project bids and support tender documentation from estimation to proposal stage.
Qualifications & Requirements
