Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Location: Abu Dhabi

We are currently seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our construction team in the UAE. The ideal candidate must be currently available in the Abu Dhabi and have proven experience in the construction field.

- Plan, organize, and monitor the movement of construction materials, machinery, and equipment.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites as per project schedules.
- Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and internal teams to avoid delays.
- Schedule daily manpower for projects, including transportation arrangements.
- Work closely with Project Engineers and Division Managers to allocate manpower efficiently.
- Arrange transportation of materials, equipment, and workforce between project sites.
- Monitor and schedule company vehicles, heavy plant, and equipment usage.
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations and company policies.
- Track incoming and outgoing shipments while maintaining accurate logistics records.
- Verify delivery notes, invoices, and transport documentation.
- Coordinate with the storekeeper for material stock updates.
- Liaise with suppliers, shipping agents, and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow up on pending deliveries and resolve discrepancies or damages.
- Negotiate with transport vendors to achieve cost-effective logistics solutions.
- Act as the key point of contact between site teams, procurement, and suppliers.
- Provide real-time updates on delivery status to site engineers and project managers.
- Support multiple construction sites with effective logistics planning.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in logistics coordination within the construction industry.
- Currently based in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of transport regulations and site logistics management.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle multiple sites and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and logistics tracking systems.
