We are currently looking for a junior accountant to join our team.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our Hypermarket finance team. The role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting retail-specific accounting activities such as inventory control, sales reconciliation, and cost analysis. Candidates with prior experience in retail or hypermarket operations and professional certifications (CA/CMA) are highly preferred.

As a successful candidate for the Latest Jobs in UAE, your responsibilities may include:
- Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Record and reconcile daily sales, POS transactions, discounts, promotions, and returns
- Monitor and reconcile inventory, stock adjustments, shrinkage, and cost of goods sold (COGS)
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including supplier invoices and customer settlements
- Perform bank, cash, and credit card reconciliations
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
- Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and management dashboards
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT/GST, and support tax filings
- Coordinate with internal teams, store operations, and external auditors
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives

Requirements
To qualify for the Latest Jobs in UAE, applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Experience in retail, hypermarket, supermarket industry (REQUIRED)
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce or any related field
- Professional certifications such as CMA, ACCA, CA, etc., are a plus but not required
- Must be in the UAE and ready to relocate to Ras Al Khaimah
- Gender (MALE)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and MS Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Preferred Qualifications:
- CA and/or CMA certification
- Prior experience in retail, supermarket, or hypermarket accounting
- Hands-on experience with inventory accounting and POS systems
- Knowledge of VAT/GST and retail compliance requirements
- Experience working in high-volume, fast-paced retail environments
