Description
The Receivable Accountant will be responsible for managing and strengthening ZIVA’s receivable function across UAE and KSA operations. The role ensures accurate and timely recording of receivables, proactive collection of outstanding invoices, and strong alignment with commercial and operations teams. The Receivable Accountant will play a key role in supporting ZIVA’s cash flow planning and financial discipline during a high-growth and transformation phase.

- Accounts Receivable Accountant

- Monitor accounts receivable aging and proactively follow up with customers to ensure timely collections.
- Reconcile customer accounts on a regular basis to maintain accurate and updated balances.
- Prepare and issue customer statements, balance confirmations, and aging reports.
- Ensure proper allocation of customer payments against invoices and credit notes.
- Handle and resolve customer queries related to invoices, billing discrepancies, and reconciliations.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to address and resolve disputes.
- Track overdue accounts, escalate issues as per company policy, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare monthly accounts receivable reports, collection forecasts, and insights for management.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes related to receivables.
- Maintain accurate records of invoices, receipts, customer correspondence, and credit limits.
- Ensure compliance with ZIVA’s policies, internal controls, and VAT/Tax regulations.
- Assist in preparing audit schedules and provide supporting documents to internal and external auditors.
- Provide accurate receivable data to Finance and Treasury teams for cash flow planning.
- Continuously review and improve receivable processes to enhance efficiency and alignment with ERP systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience in Accounts Receivable or general accounting, preferably within FMCG, manufacturing, or distribution.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT/Tax implications, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, transformation-driven environment.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability.
