We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to oversee and ensure accurate inspections for Civil, Architectural, and Structural works in compliance with approved plans and drawings. As a successful candidate for the Latest Jobs in Dubai, your responsibilities may include:
- In depth review of the material submittals and shop drawings as directed by the R.E/PM.
- Direct and manage the Civil Engineers, Sr. Civil Inspectors, Civil Inspectors, Site Architects and Architect inspectors to perform the site inspections as required by the Contract documents.
- Managing the construction site works and setting the inspections guidelines to the site team in agreement with the RE/PM.
- Assigning the inspections to the site team and performing the site inspections as necessary to ensure the achievement of the best quality of works.
- Assisting the RE/PM in responding to the Contractual and Technical issues as directed.
- Coordination with MEP, Architectural and structural teams to ensure proper execution of works
- Direct the contractor to handle Authorities Inspections and recording the Authorities comments during inspection to ensure contractor’s proper response.
- Respond to the contractor’s request for inspection; handle the inspection as per approved Shop Drawings and Submittals.
- Handling the Field Instructions/NCR’s process ensuring the best Contractor’s corrective actions.
- Review of project closeout documents and drafting the project closeout report
- Upon finishing and completion of work/project, handle overall Civil Inspection and prepare Civil Snagging works
- Follow up and inspect Contractor’s Corrective Actions and Contractor’s De-snagging.
- Follow-up Client’s comments during the defects’ liability period as determined in the contract, and ensure the proper corrective action of the contractor.
- Controlling the project safety ensuring the Contractor’s compliance with Authorities regulations and international safety standards
