Responsibilities

• Develop and implement of a set of Specification, Standards and Strategies for the management of AADC’s electricity asset base. 
• Monitor and occasionally sample the overall level of implementation and adherence to these standards. 
• Work within the framework to develop, maintain and control electricity asset standards and specification
• Establish, review, change and communication of AADC’s technical standards and procedures. 
• Communicate the standards and procedures by updating related systems, training material and programs, and advising appropriate groups/departments of changes and/or additions.
• Conduct training and communication, and engage with stakeholders, to ensure that specification, strategies and standards are developed in such a manner that they can be implemented successfully and sustainable.
• Perform technical evaluation of material procurement tenders raised by AADC departments as well as for 3rd parties projects, Mega projects , private projects and temporary power supply including LV 
• Execute all customer facing transactions in line with AADC customer strategy resulting in higher satisfaction and timely delivery of services 
• Address customer needs, problems and requests in a timely manner 
• Attend internal meetings with concern AADC departments and external meetings with TAQA, DoE, TRANSCO and EWEC.
• From time to time, undertake special studies as directed by the section head, necessary to develop better practices, changes to company policies and requirements from AADC's business plans. Such studies may involve a coordination role with other AADC Directorates and consultants.
• Assist the line manager in the preparation of regular progress reports, on a monthly basis.
• Perform other similar or related duties as and when assigned by the line manager.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 4-5 years' experience in a similar role.
• Asset Risk Management
• Specific Skills: Problem Solving, Communication, Decision Making
• PC literacy in MS Office and MAXIMO.
• Languages: English and Arabic are essential.
