This is a flexible Business Development Manager (BDM) role within the realm of BIM services and design consultancy in the UAE. As a BDM, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth, achieving success, and generating new business revenue. The BDM will be responsible for spearheading business development efforts, nurturing client relationships, and identifying new opportunities. Your dynamic approach will be crucial in expanding our clientele and contributing to our ongoing success.
- Generate at least AED 10 million in new business revenue annually.
- Ensure a comprehensive understanding of all products and services offered by the company across all projects.
- Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, services, and potential partnerships.
- Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help company expand.
- Be a confident networker, capable of engaging with clients both in-person and over the phone, understanding their needs, and fostering relationships.
- Review client feedback and implement necessary changes.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure a unified tone of voice, updated case studies, and the optimal presentation of the company to maximize new business potential.
- Provide support to the Project Director as needed to assist in the delivery of active projects, including preparing portfolios and attending start-up meetings as necessary.
- Represent MABEQ Solutions at meetings and networking events.
- Perform any other tasks required by the company to fulfill its services effectively.
Requirements
- Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets.
- Knowledge, experience, and connections in the Design Consultancy, BIM service, Civil Engineering and Construction sectors in the UAE.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to network, build rapport, and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Adaptability – the capability to reprioritize quickly and focus all resources on achieving short-notice deadlines for tender responses.
- Ability to multitask and flexibility in adapting to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Proven experience in strategic thinking, project management, and organizational skills.
- Experience/familiarity with successful marketing and business development techniques.
- 3 - 5 years' prior industry-related business development experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
