Responsibilities
- Responsible for day-to-day Accounts Finance Operations.
- Prepare full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of monthly/annual accounts.
- Supervise the junior staff on other routine accounting work.
- Monthly and Annual MIS Reporting.
- Reconciliation of Quarterly VAT transactions and filing the VAT Returns.
- Prepare quarterly/yearly financial statements for auditing and review purposes.
- Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes.
- Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Maintain the accounting database and ensure proper implementation of the applicable system for accounts administration.
- Maintain and review the general ledger and reconciled balance sheets and ensure proper closing of periodic and annual accounts.

Requirements
- BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant
- Minimum 4-5 years of UAE Experience in a similar profile.
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookup’s and pivot tables.
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and quantitative skills.
- Strong analytical and time-management skills.
- Handling VAT Reporting on Quarterly basis.
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Accounting Supervisor, chief or senior accountant.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software packages.
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
