HIRING: Legal Counsel (Temporary)
We are currently looking for a Legal Counsel for one of our clients in the semi-government sector in Dubai, for a short term temporary contract.
As a key member of our team, you will review, interpret and translate legal requirements and effectively communicating these to the business and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Provide legal support and advice to upper management on relevant legal issues
- Ensure compliance with the internal controls, statutory regulations and other formalities
- Calculate and handle risks in business process and decision making
- Negotiate and manage commercial work documentation, draft legal documents such as contracts, statements, agreements etc.
- Execute procedures for protecting patents, trademarks, and industrial designs
- Manage and review IP/trademark portfolio for the global business in conjunction with in-house IP counsel and external counsel
Requirements
- Someone who has a bachelor's degree and admission to practice law, with at least 5 years of work experience, including experience in UAE.
- Preferably, a candidate who has experience and exposure practicing law in Media/Entertainment, Real Estate, Civil Commercial, Labour, or Corporate industries.
- Fluent in English and Arabic (Write, Read, Speak)
