Description

Performs variety of financial planning and analysis activities including Management reporting, Budgeting & Forecasting, Preparation and distribution of Key financial reports, Analyzing results identifying trends and monitoring variances, Assisting in building financial models, Involvement in monthly financial closing review, adjustments, and other adhoc analysis assignments.

Responsibilities

• Track the company's financial status and performance and identify areas for potential improvement
• Should be comfortable handling complex transactions and preparing regular financial reports.
• Control all financial aspects of planning and budgeting, P&L, Balance Sheet, working capital and related Cash Flows ensuring timely and accurate data.
• Preparation of Consolidated and Standalone Financial Statements.
• Liaising with Auditors & external teams for various statutory requirements.
• Helping the team in other routine data entry work to ensure timely monthly closure.
• Ability to multi-task & work in tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
• Forge exemplary team spirit with the existing team members and assist/ support them during periods of heavy work volumes.
• Monitor financial performance of the company and escalate any variations to management
• Should have strong analytical skills.
• Oracle experience is an added advantage.
• Good personality with good communication skills.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Accounting Supervisor, Chief or Senior accountant.
• Professional accounting experience
• Auditing experience
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• Awareness of business trends
• Knowledgeable in UAE FAT rules / VAT filling.
• Good communication skills including verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Computer Knowledge in Microsoft Office Application: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and adept at learning new software program
