Job Position - IT Support Technician
Your role as an IT Support:
- Installation and configuration of computer hardware, operating systems and application
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and network.
- Error detection and rectification.
- Troubleshooting software and hardware problems.
- Responding within short span of time.
- Working continuously on a task until completion.
- Coordinating with staff and the clients until the issues are sort out.
- Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with colleagues, customers and othersprofessionals, such as software developer.
- Setting up new users’ accounts and profiles and dealing with password issue
- Providing support in procedural documentation and relevant report.
- Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system.
- Supporting the roll-out of new applications or update of the existing apps.
- Testing and evaluating new technology to keep the company updated.
- Maintaining documentation and hardware/software register
- Check computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards etc.) to ensure functioning efficiency.
- Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance.
- Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer system
- Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipments.
- Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without disturbing others from completing their works on the scheduled time.
- Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems.
- Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule.
- Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place order.
- Maintain and Troubleshoot CCTV.
