Boston Diabetes and Endocrine Center opened its doors in June 2012 to address the growing diabetes epidemic.
Diabetes is among the most common health conditions in the United Arab Emirates today. About 18.9 percent Emiratis have diabetes and many of these people have yet to be diagnosed. In Dubai alone, nearly one in five adults have diabetes and it is among the top causes of death.
For early detection of diabetes and screening of healthy individuals Boston Diabetes and Endocrine Center plans to support research on diabetes in the UAE.
We are committed to educate the society about diabetes, how to manage their disease and avoid serious problems.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for keeping the reception area clean and organized
- Registers new patients and updates existing patient demographics by collecting detailed patient information including personal and financial information
- Facilitates patient flow by notifying the provider of patients' arrival, being aware of delays, and communicating with patients and clinical staff
- Welcomes and greets all patients and visitors, in person or over the phone
- Answers the phone while maintaining a polite, consistent phone manner using proper telephone etiquette
Requirements and skills
- Arabic speaker highly desirable
- Must have Patient Coordinator experience
- Has at least 1 year working as a Receptionist in a healthcare facility
- Possess excellent Customer Service Skills
- Has a great personality – warm, friendly, and outgoing
- Speaks fluent English
- Must be residing in Abu Dhabi / UAE already
