To interpret and perform diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures within the Scope of Radiology Department. The service includes plain films, fluoroscopy, GI studies, ultrasound, mammography CT Scans and MRI. Administrative support is provided by the Chief Radiologist.
QUALIFICATION, LICENSURE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SPECIAL SKILLS:
- Graduate of approved Medical School with a valid license to practice medicine; certification by American/Australia/Canadian Board of Radiology or possession of an FRCR (Canada) in Diagnostic Radiology or the English FRCP (or equivalent).
- 5 to10 years experience in the practice of radiology following completion of training.
- Excellent command of oral and written English. Knowledge of the Arabic language is desirable but not essential.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of medical ethics, with particular reference to the obligation to maintain the confidentiality of his work; personality which inspires confidence and trust in his patients; and adhere to Bylaws, Rules and Regulations of the Medical Organization.
- Current licensure in the country of origin and with a DHA license to practice as a specialist in diagnostic radiology in Dubai, UAE.
- Communication, and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with co-workers, superiors, patients & families.
- BLS certified
