Required for a general trading company in Dubai, Sales representatives from all nationalities (males and females) with experience in the field of foodstuff trading. 

A food sales rep is a professional who acts as the face for a vendor's or manufacturer's food products. She might be responsible for contacting new clients, maintaining relationships with established clients, consulting on new products and setting prices. Sales reps normally talk to representatives from institutions that purchase food, such as restaurants, schools, churches and government organizations. A minimum of a high school diploma is required to become a food sales rep, as well as some sales experience, preferably in food services.

According to the following conditions:

  1. At least two years of experience in food sales, with clients database
  2. Owns a car as a prerequisite for applying for this  job. 
  3. The age of the applicants should not be more than 35 years.
  4. Applicants with resident visa are preferred and can join immediately.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain current knowledge of product and system status within divisions and distribution centers to assist CDSs and customers
  • Acquire new food service accounts
  • Upon completion of training (estimated 6-12 months), you will manage your own territory as an Account Manager (relocation may be necessary)
  • Provide industry expertise to customers in terms of sanitation, safety, quality and operations
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of plant staff
  • Contributing to the attainment of sales targets/strategies and market penetration in line with regional growth
